Uploading a BOQ: Step-by-Step Guide
If you already have a bill of quantities, here's the fastest way to get it quoted.

When to use BOQ upload instead of a manual RFQ
If your architect or contractor has already prepared a bill of quantities, Upload BOQ is faster than re-typing every line item into a manual requirement. What the file should contain
Each line should have a clear description, quantity and unit — the same detail you'd want from a printed BOQ. Vendors quote against exactly what's listed, so ambiguous line items get ambiguous quotes back.
Review the parsed items before sending
Give the extracted line items a quick check before the requirement goes out to vendors — catching a typo or misread quantity here is far cheaper than catching it after quotes come back.
After you upload
Once submitted, the BOQ is treated like any other requirement — vendors quote against it, and you compare and accept quotations item by item or in full.
