Refunds, Short Supply and Substitutes
What happens when a seller can't send everything, and how and where your refund is paid.

When a seller can't send everything
If a seller runs short, they close the rest of the order and tell you why. You are not charged for what was not sent: the price and GST of the missing quantity are refunded automatically, or taken off the cash due if you chose cash on delivery.
Substitutes need your approval
Instead of closing short, a seller can offer a different product for the missing items. You see the offer on the order page and choose to accept or decline. A substitute never costs more than what you ordered; if it costs less, the difference is refunded.
Damaged, wrong or missing goods
Check the goods when they arrive and record anything short or damaged on the order page. The seller responds first; if you don't agree with the outcome, our team reviews it and decides the refund.
Where a refund is paid
If you paid online, the refund goes back to the same payment method. If you paid the seller in cash or directly, we pay the refund to your bank account or UPI ID.
Add those details once under Settings > Refund details. Refunds waiting to be paid are listed there too.
Following a refund
Each refund appears on the order and in your notifications, with the amount and the order it belongs to.
Your feedback helps us improve our policies and communications.
