Ways to Pay: Online, Cash on Delivery and Credit
The three payment choices at checkout, when each one appears and how seller credit works.

On this page
Pay in full online
Pay by UPI, card or net banking through our payment partner. Nothing is due at delivery. This choice is always available.
Cash on delivery
Shown when the seller accepts cash for an order of that size. You pay a small advance online to confirm the order and pay the rest to the driver when the goods arrive.
You confirm the delivery with a one-time code, and you get a receipt for the cash. If the order comes in more than one trip, you pay on each trip only for what is on that truck.
Buy on credit from a seller
A seller who knows you can give you a credit limit and a number of days to pay. When you have credit with a seller, Buy on credit appears at checkout for that seller's items. The seller decides whether any advance is due at checkout.
The days to pay are counted from the day the first goods are sent. Each seller decides who gets credit and how much.

Paying a credit bill
My credit lists what you owe each seller and when it is due. Pay a bill online there, or pay the seller directly and they will record it.
We remind you three days before a bill is due, on the due date, and every three days after that. While a bill is overdue you can't place new credit orders with that seller, but you can still buy from them by paying online or with cash on delivery.
Keeping payments safe
Only pay online on the Cat Build Mart checkout, and pay cash only to the driver delivering your order. We never ask for your card number, UPI PIN or one-time code by phone or message.
